The first one is the turbo ball cat scratcher. Sometimes they both played with it at the same time. That was really cool. It usually began with me playing with one of the cats and then the other cat took an interest to see what was going on. This one worked best when they still had kitten energy in them.
One of their longest lasting toys as popularity goes is the Cat Dancer Charmer, also known as a wand toy. They come in a variety of dangling toys. The first one they had, had soft fleece like fabric on the end of a wand. Both cats enjoyed going after the colorful strip of fabric whenever a human was holding the other end, and dangling it around. This toy can encourage jumping, leaping, rolling and grabbing, and more. It is an overall fun toy.
One of our cats also enjoyed dragging the Cat Charmer around. She dragged it up the stairs, down the stairs, into a room where I was sitting, etc. Then she meowed loudly to let us know that she brought us a gift.
Our current cat loves the worm teaser cat wand toy the best. It wiggles and squiggles as you hold the wand and make it jump, etc. This is her overall pick of the wand toys.
This next cat toy is very simple and does not require any special purchase. Find a lid from a soda or water bottle and toss it on the floor. Our cats have loved batting these little lids around. When they bat them just right, they can also pick them up by the edge and carry one around.
Which cat toy above do you think your cat(s) would like?
Does your cat have a favorite toy that I didn't mention? Feel free to share with us in the comments.
