If you're a cat lover like me, then you know that cats can have a calming affect, especially when you stop whatever else you're doing at the time, and focus on petting the cat.
I know that my cats really appreciate the attention when I am truly focused on them and their joy. I can tell a difference too in how I feel as well.
I think it's because they can feel the love.
And when we pet them to their satisfaction, they lovingly reward us with a purr.
