Purr-fect Trick or Treat Cat Bags for Halloween

Does your child or children love cats? Do they also like Trick or Treating on Halloween? If they do, consider canvas Halloween bags decorated with cats.

The bags are sturdier than plastic ones, and the handles are well secured. You can choose from various styles and sizes.

On these first two, the kids can also color in the designs, and/or draw on the bags with fabric paint markers if they want to add their own flare.

This first outline design features a kitten climbing out of a pumpkin.

The second outline design features a cat standing, that is facing the onlooker.

Both of the above designs also have Trick or Treat printed on the bags, which can also be colored in.

The third design choice is from a colorful painting of a wizard cat sitting by a pumpkin, that is shaped like a ghost.

The designs can be ordered on different bag styles, colors, and sizes. I recommend the bags with a lighter color, to help the trick or treaters to more easily be seen in the evening.

Your comments are welcome, and you can also submit a design request to Cheryl.

Acrobat Cat Cards and Shirts

As we know, cats are very flexible; some might even say acrobatic. Do you like the positions that your cats can get in to? Do they remind you of an acrobat? They also remind me of many yoga poses.

If your cats positions bring a smile to your face, you'll probably enjoy the designs below.

First, is a vintage style design of a balancing cat act. If these cats were on America's Got Talent, I would surely vote for them. These postcards are purr-fect to send with your friendly greetings.

I've seen videos of dogs walking on their front legs; I guess that cats can do it too. This design can be ordered on the note card or the greeting card size.

Do your cats stretch out across the floor, as if they were gliding or flying? Mine do. I did the original painting from my cat doing just that. This cute design is printed on t-shirts; it's a fun gift for cat lovers of all ages. You can also select the tshirt style that you like best.

I hope that you enjoyed my selection and that you have a purr-fect day.

Any of the above items are printed by Zazzle.com, a print on demand company. You can click on the picture links above to view pricing and more options.

Cat Face Tshirts, Sweatshirts, and Hoodies

Does your cat like to get up in your face? I know that ours do, especially our tuxedo cat. I know it's because she loves me. Perhaps that is why we like cats so much. I also like doing paintings of them.

This is a vignette portrait of our tuxedo cat printed on a tshirt. After clicking on the link, you can choose any shirt style, including sweatshirts and hoodies.

Our other cat is a tortoise shell. She likes to set the terms. She is not so much a face cat, but will sometimes lay in my lap, but usually she lays next to my legs. Sometimes, though, the two of them will want the same spot! : )

You can check out more of my cat shirts at CherylsArt on Zazzle.com. You can also choose a different style shirt, color, and/or size.

Wishing you a purr-fect day. : )

Gifts for Cat Lovers and Plant Lovers

Sometimes cats and plants don't go together. After my mother had passed, we brought a bunch of the plants home. We left them in the house, along with our two cats, for a neighbor to care for, while we took my dad for a get away trip.

When we returned home, the cats were still alive, but they had pooped green, and not one of the green leavings were in the litter box. They had never missed before. We quickly learned our lesson and never brought flowers from the florist in to our house again. Any that were given to me after that, quickly found their home out on the front step.

Bringing you up to date, I had wanted to paint an abstract cat design, with flowers on it. Once I started, I realized that I should look up the plants, and make sure that they were safe for cats.

Yes, there are flowers and plants that cats can eat, and still be okay. Just make sure they don't come from a florist, etc., or any place that may add any coating.

Four of the non-toxic plants that I found were Gerber daisies, catnip, nasturtiums, and cereal grass. There were more listed, such as snap dragons, and a type of rose. I kept it to the first four for my painting.

The colors show up real nice on blue. Here, the painting is shown on tote bags.

The pillow looks great for both humans and/or cats to snuggle up with. The background color can be customized. Be sure to customize both sides.

If you want to share this info with your flower and cat lover friends, the info is ready on business cards. You and your friends can have a cute picture and the info handy on the back.

If you know of any other plants and/or flowers, that are safe for cats to eat, please add it in a comment. Please, just add the ones that are safe. Thank you.

Favorite Cat Designs

Here you will find various products with some of my favorite cat designs on them.

First is a favorite painting I did of our tuxedo cat, Muffin. She is black and white, and looks so happy. It seems appropriate that she is shown on Happy Birthday cards:

This beautiful design, by Bebops, features a trait that cats seem to do best. They get so engaged in watching whatever is out the window. The mousepad seems like a fun choice for this design.

This fun painting depicts our two cats doing some bird watching. This design is printed on jigsaw puzzles for some additional fun.

This next design is colorful and creative. It features a painting of a black cat that is decorated with flowers that are supposed to be safe for cats should they eat them.

Unique Cat Cards

Here you will find unique greeting cards designed for cat lovers.

Cats get in to some pretty unique positions and places. If you're a cat lover like me, you probably know some unique ideas of where your cats have been.

One of the cute places that two of our cats liked was the mini trampoline. Instead of jumping on it of course, the cats just liked using it for what they deemed best; laying around and sitting on it.

Cats giving each other a kiss isn't so unique, but it is always cute. What is unique is the abstract drawing of said kiss. Two of my cats however, were the models.

If you want to let a cat lover know that you love them, it's a great idea to include a cat on the card. This unique cat painting is done in pointillism. This tuxedo cat is pictured on a crisscross pattern of red hearts.

If you're looking for a unique version of a cat tree, this is it! Lots of colorful cats are sitting and climbing in this tree. I definitely think that a tree of life should include cats!:

I hope you enjoyed some of my favorites, and found the purr-fect card.

Fun Cat Toys to Play with your Cats

I have found that cats change over time and so does their preference of toys. But I will share with some of the toys that they have found the most exciting.

The first one is the turbo ball. Sometimes they both played with it at the same time. That was really cool. It usually began with me playing with one of the cats and then the other cat took an interest to see what was going on. This one worked best when they still had kitten energy in them.

They also like the top of this one; it offers some scratching time fun too.

One of their longest lasting toys as popularity goes is the Cat Dancer Charmer. There is soft fleece like fabric on the end of a wand. Both cats enjoy going after the colorful strip of fabric whenever a human is holding the other end, and dangling it around.

One of our cats also enjoys dragging the Cat Charmer around. She'll take it up the stairs, down the stairs, into a room where I'm sitting, etc. Then she meows loudly to let us know that she brought us a gift.

This cat toy is very simple and does not require any special purchase. Find a lid from a soda or water bottle and toss it on the floor. Our cats have loved batting these little lids around. When they bat them just right, they can also pick them up by the edge and carry one around.

The other money saving toy is a brown paper bag. Open one up, preferably one that the cat can fit in to, and lay it on the floor. Then just wait for the magic to happen.

Does your cat have a favorite toy that I didn't mention? Feel free to share with us in the comments.

Outline Drawings of Cats that Can be Colored In

Here you will find products with pre-printed outline drawings of cats on them. Kids can paint and or color them in. These activities are both creative and fun, and the kids can have something functional to show for their effort.

These are tie up aprons for kids. The aprons can also be ordered on other colors and in adult sizes too.

If you want something that is relatively mess free, you can choose fabric paint markers. You won't have to worry about paint and or water spills. However, there is one important tip: If you need to shake the markers to get the paint mixed or flowing, be sure to put the cap back on so that the tip will stay intact. Otherwise the tip may go flying across the room when someone is shaking the marker.

A canvas bag can be used to hold books, projects, overnight clothes, etc. This one features a cute drawing design of kaleidoscope cats with hearts in the center. The text says Trick or Treat, but can easily be customized with the child's name or other message.

This outline design features three cats standing side by side. The kids can make all three look the same or make each one different.

These shirts also feature an important message: Keep Calm and Pet Cats. This drawing was inspired by my own two cats enjoying each others company.

For a simpler option, we have cat and dog outlines on notepads. You can choose from the 5.5 by 6 inch size or the 8.5 by 11 size. These can be colored in with regular markers, colored pencils, and or crayons.

For your more industrious artists, we have the kaleidoscope cats printed on wrapped canvas. I recommend acrylic paint for these.

May you have some fun activity time with your kids. If you have an outline drawing request, feel ask me in a comment.

Cute Tuxedo Cat Gifts

Here you will find cute tuxedo cat gift ideas for cat lovers.

I am the proud and happy owner of my adorable tuxedo cat, Muffin.

My cat Muffin likes being happy and contented. She seems to be the purr-fect choice on these Happy Birthday paper plates. I painted her using the pointillism technique, which means, I painted her image by using numerous dots.

Here, I took a photo of her laying on a blanket. I used individual line brushstrokes for this portrait. This image is printed twice on the cover of these greeting cards. The front of the card is to be cut down the middle on the line, and can then be used as bookmarks. So it is a gift within a card.

This same bookmark design can also be purchased on mini business cards.

These tuxedo cat shirts can be a fun solution when you're short on tuxes!

If you are looking for a gray accent pillow, Muffin has got it covered.

If you are looking for some fun activities, Muffin's photo of her enjoying her Christmas present, is a fun puzzle choice.

Muffin says, "That's all for now. Gotta go and saw some zzzz's. Purr."

Cute Ceramic Pet Bowls for Cats

I've used a variety of pet bowls for our cats over the years, and have come to like the ceramic ones the best. They don't pick up the odors, they're easy to clean, and they continue to look nice.

They're also a great size, and can be used for either food or water.

These cat bowls feature my painting of four cats in shades of black to gray stretched out in an acrobat pose. Does your cat like this pose too? These can be personalized with your fur buddy's name.

Are you a cat lover from way back? This kaleidoscope design features a drawing of four cats, all connected by hearts in the middle of the design.

Does your cat show you the best ways to exercise. I think mine were showing me the best way to use a trampoline!

Cute Tuxedo Cat and Colorful Butterflies Canvas Tote Bags

Here you will find custom tote bags with cute cats and butterflies on them.

We have a tuxedo cat ourselves, and she is so sweet. So I was in awe with this cute tuxie with all the colorful butterflies. I love butterflies too; they make a purr-fect pair.

I love all of the vibrant colors on these:

I was so inspired by this combination that I decided to include a painting of our cat Muffin with a pair of butterflies that I had painted.

I love the closeup of Muffin's face.

You can choose either or both of these adorable designs of Freckles and/or Muffin, on the bag style of your choice. There are different sizes and colors to choose from. Clicking on either design will will take you to Zazzle which will also bring up the various bag styles.

Canvas bags come in so handy, whether going shopping, holding a yarn or sewing project, or to carry your favorite books. I usually use them for crocheting and crafting projects, and sometimes I use them to carry books and music in when going on vacation. They can make a purr-fect gift for yourself and or for any other cat lover.

What kinds of things do you use canvas bags for?

Thanks so much for stopping by. Please feel free to share.

Do your cats like to chew? Chew toys for Cats.

When I was a kid, we often got chew toys for our dogs to enjoy, but had never given any thought about getting chew toys for our cats.

Then when our cat Sunny came in to our life, lo and behold, she likes to chew. I would hold a dog's little knobby bone out to her, and she would chew on it.

The next time I went to the pet store, I did find chew toys that were made for cats.

These chew toys are soft and are covered in a mesh, they also have shoe lace like strings that come out from them. Both cats love chewing on these; but who knows where all they take them? So I've actually tied a couple of the chew toys up so at least some of them can easily be found.

They always seem more enticing while the catnip scent is still fresh. I did throw a couple in the laundry and washed them, they came out looking nice, however, they will take a sprinkling of catnip to get the cats interested in them again. That does work out pretty well, but not as well as when they are fresh from the store.

These chew toys for cats are soft, and have a textured layer to help clean their teeth. Our cats will enjoy some chew time and then carry them off to find again later.

This one looks like a perfect choice for our cat Sunny. It's got places that I can easily hold while she chews on the hard knobby places.

Hope you have found this helpful. Please share if you know of someone else who could benefit from this info. Thank you.

Kaleidoscope Cat Canvas Bags

Here you will find an outline drawing of cats in a kaleidoscope style, printed on canvas tote bags. The bags can be enjoyed as they are, or you can have some artistic fun and color them in.

I had seen many mandala type designs and thought that one with a cat pattern would be super cool. For the center where the four cat drawings meet, I made four little hearts.

The design can be colored in with fabric paint markers. Be sure to place a flat sheet of cardboard between the fabric layers to help prevent any bleed through.

Hope you like it.

By the way, from one cat lover to another, welcome to my new blog on Gifts for the Love of Cats.
